Transcripts:Official transcripts from any institutions where a bachelor’s degree and/or graduate credit was earned

Additional Requirements:Three letters of recommendation, personal statement, resume or CV

Transfer Credit

The online MSW has several transfer credit options depending on your prior education. If you have completed social work courses from a CSWE-accredited program, you may transfer up to 31 credits towards your MSW degree. If you have completed related social sciences courses from a non-social work program, you may transfer up to six elective credits. When to Apply

Applying to Eastern Oregon University is simple — you will create an EOU Online account and submit your application online. Then, watch for email updates about your application status and keep in touch with support teams who are ready to answer your questions.

For the Fall 2025 start date, you should apply by June 1, 2025.

For the Spring 2026 start date, you should apply by December 1, 2025.
