Military Students

EOU is a Military Friendly School and offers many scholarships and benefits for traditional and online students, in addition to federal aid for U.S. military service members and veterans.

For EOU students pursuing fully online undergraduate programs and who have served in the National Guard or Reserves on active duty since Sept. 11, 2001, we offer the Active Duty Scholarship to cover remaining tuition after other benefits are applied.

U.S. military veterans can also apply for the Veterans United Foundation Scholarship to help with costs not covered by the GI Bill. Since 2012, the Veterans United Foundation has awarded $450,000+ in scholarships to nearly 100 students across the country. Applicants must be a surviving spouse or a surviving child of a deceased service member or a deceased Veteran of the U.S. Military, or a Veteran with a 100% service connected disability.

Spouses and children of U.S. military service members may also be eligible for financial aid from EOU.
