You want to advance in your knowledge to be an even more effective educator. With the option of six specializations in curriculum leadership, dyslexia, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), literacy, special education, or trauma in educational communities, you’ll be able to concentrate in an area aligned with your career goals.
EOU stays current with its offerings and has included dyslexia as the latest, in-demand concentration.
This convenient master’s in education qualifies you for careers in and outside the classroom. Consider careers in curriculum coaching, consulting and curriculum-based administration. Complete your degree in as little as 12 months.
If you’re in Oregon, you may additionally receive endorsements.
Notes on endorsement and specialization:
- This program can only recommend candidates for endorsements in the state of Oregon.
- In order to be recommended for an endorsement for ESOL, reading intervention or special education or a specialization in trauma in educational communities, you must already have an Oregon license because these are not initial licensure programs.
- If you are from another state, you can request that your home state verify your completion of this program. Your home state then determines whether or not to accept our program for your licensure.
